【提问】Factory Reset for T5L Display

Hello All,

I have a 4.3" T5L DMG80480C043_02WTC display.

While I was loading it with the latest firmware (T5L程序20201024), my AC line became unstable which affected the power supply to the display. The display restarted a few times while it was in blue screen mode (microSD card was mounted).
After the incident, the display was no longer able to turn on (no backlight) and it was not responding to serial commands. I also tried to reload the firmware using the microSD card but no luck. Before the incident the display was operating normally.

Is there a way to restore the display to its factory settings?

Also, apologies if I have posted in the wrong section. I am using DGUSII (DGUS_TOOL_V8.0.1.1) IDE for development.
I intend to move my post but this forum doesn't seem to have an English version, so it is hard for me to navigate.

Building, hello, you can check, is not because the current or voltage is too large, caused by the Diode Protection Tube, burn out, resulting in a black screen

Thank you for the quick reply.
Would you be kind enough to show where the protection diode/s are? The datasheet of the display does not have a schematic diagram. Attached is a photo of the actual display.

P.S.
Actually I was not able to attach the photo. I waited 2 hours for the 200kb photo to be uploaded but was not successful. Not sure why. I will try posting it again tomorrow.

The most common thing is to burn off the overvoltage protection diode, such as the diode components marked in the red box in the figure. Other hardware is generally not easy to be damaged. It is found that the current of the serial port is very high and abnormal by measuring with a multimeter, and the protection diode SMBJ**A (unidirectional) device can be measured: adjust the multimeter to measure the position of the diode. If the multimeter measures the two ends of the diode as shown in the figure, it will make a "drop ~" sound, indicating that the diode has broken down and two points have become short circuits. If the black screen is caused by short-time overvoltage, it will generally not burn the LCD screen and module behind it. If this diode is removed, the screen may light up again, but without this protective diode, don't accidentally overvoltage again. If other chips burn out, send them back for repair and replace the hardware if necessary.
