Hi, I have DMG85480C050_03WN screen. I am wondeng is it possible to replace 16Mb flash memory to bigger one? Does flash exist inside the CPU or its external Chip?

Your screen is a product of the T5L series, and it is possible to replace 16MB flash memory to bigger one, only need to expand flash with larger memory on PCBA board, and our company supports customized products according to your needs. And the flash is extternal chip.

At the moment I need this modification for only one screen, so nobody wants to do it for one screen. Could I re-solder flash memory myself?
I see that the screen has "BoyaMicro 25Q128ASSIG" flash memory. Where could I buy bigger chip? If I would solder bigger flash memory, how could I use it from firmware?
