HOW to add an effect ?

Hi Everyone ! I have a question.  I want to add effect my scrren. There is 4 button on my screen and when I press any button, I want it to shine. And the second time I press it, I want it to go off.How can I do?  What do you recomend?  (screen model: dmt80600L104_01WT)

Two methods:
1. Make different base maps, and the effect of the buttons on the base maps is different. Switch the page by pressing the buttons.

2. Make different icons, press the key to upload the command to the system, and the system sends the command to switch the icon to the screen.

I didn't understand completly what I shoul do.  I can't use icon.  There was explained how to use 'icon command' in "CommandSetV2.4" but I didn't understand. Can you explain to me easily?
