[Question]Failed Firmware upload - DMT48270C043_06WT

Afternoon,

I'm currently using a DWIN Touch LCD (DMT48270C043_06WT) on my Creaility CR10S Pro, mid way through a firmware update i lost power and now the LCD will only display a white image, i've attempted to reboot but it fails to read the firmware from the SD card

I've connected a USB To Serial via RX2 & TX2 but i'm struggling to locate any information on restoring the firmware via serial, please could someone help or point in the right direction.

According to your description, it is possible that the bottom layer of the display screen is missing. This needs to go back to the bottom of the burning project. Do you only have one display screen?

Afternoon Kevein, thank you for your prompt response, I only have one screen unfortunately. I do have a USB to Serial adapter if this would suffice?

Thanks yinp01, is there any other options to recover this screen? I don't like the idea of throwing away good hardware when it's just a corrupt software :-(

oh that's a shame, if I purchased another screen would it allow me to fix this one? I'm keen to understand how. Thanks Carl
