The downloads hang on the first file. I can see a trasnsfer start when I monitor the RS232 TX line from the computer, but it stops.

Does the software require an acknowlegment from the display during transfers?

The serial port download tool requires an OS core that responds to 4F and 4B commands; it cannot use an OS core that does not respond.
