Hi all, hopping someone can help me recover a T5L display.
Panel is a DMG80480C043_02WTC (4.3", 800×480, DGUS II), powered from a stable 5V/1A supply, flashed via SD card (nothing connected to USB).
My first SD flash loaded fine, but the screen came up corrupted — left side black with a text label showing mirrored, right side just color static. Oddly it previews perfectly in DGUS on my PC. I powered off to retry, and since then it's just backlight on, black screen, and it won't enter the SD download process at all — no blue bar on boot.
Things I've already ruled out:
SD is FAT32, 4096-byte clusters, DWIN_SET in the root. Tried a second fresh card too — no difference.
BMPs are byte-for-byte identifying between my source and the card (checked md5), so it's not a bad SD write.
Cold power-cycle with the card inserted before power-on — no change.
The panel model on the board matches the model set in the DGUS project, so it's not a wrong-model issue.
22_Config.bin is the right size (131KB) but completely empty (all zeros), and there's no T5L_TCON_SET.INI or kernel file in my DWIN_SET.
A few questions:
Is the mirrored-text + half-static corruption the usual sign of a wrong/empty resolution (File 22) or missing TCON config for this panel?
Is an all-zero 22_Config.bin normal, or does it mean the resolution config never got generated?
Now that it's black and won't trigger SD download, what's the right way to recover? Does this panel need T5L_TCON_SET.INI and/or a kernel file in DWIN_SET?
If SD won't recover it, can I use the onboard UART header with a USB-TTL adapter and the DGUS download tool, or do I need a PGT05 burner?
Happy to post photos of the screen and board. Thanks!
